STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour.

I believe that through faith in Him, a person is brought into the body of Christ, forgiven of sin, and made new. The Holy Spirit dwells within the believer, guiding, correcting, and strengthening them in truth.

I believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the true and living Word of God. It is complete, unchanging, and the final authority in all matters of faith and life. It is to be read in full, in context, as a complete account of God’s Word.

I believe there is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, sovereign over all, and active in the lives of those who seek Him.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. He was crucified for the sins of the world, rose again in bodily form, and ascended into heaven. He will return.

I believe that salvation is given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is a personal decision to repent and believe. Through this, a person is born again and brought into eternal life.

I believe the Holy Spirit works within the believer to bring conviction, understanding, and transformation. He is present, active, and essential in the life of a Christian.

I believe that man is fallen and separated from God through sin, and that restoration is only found through Jesus Christ.

I believe in the ongoing work of God in the life of the believer. Growth is not instant, but it is real. The Word of God, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and obedience to truth shape that growth.

I believe in speaking about God and sharing His Word. Faith comes by hearing, and truth must be spoken plainly.

I believe prayer is communication with God. It is daily, direct, and rooted in trust.

I believe in fellowship among believers. We are meant to walk together, to support one another, and to remain grounded in truth.

I believe that Jesus Christ will return, and that eternity is real.
